Otodus obliquus is an mackerel shark,ancient predecessor to the megalodon shark that lived during the Paleocene and Eocene epochs, approximately 60 to 45 million years ago.Fossil remains of Otodus sharks indicate that they were very large, predatory sharks.It usually reached length up to 30 feet and 1-2 tons weight.
